Junior Prom News

Prom tickets start this week. The school administration decided this year only students with 0 detention hours will be allowed to register for prom. After school detention is held in the cafe everyday for 1 hour and 2 hours on Wednesday. The way detention is now being run is that for every student that attends a number 1-10 will be pulled and that number is the number of hours that is removed that day. So example if you attend after school detention tomorrow and a 6 is pulled, you will
receive 6 hours off for that 1 hour.

Prom tickets go on sale starting February 19th till March 8th. Here's the schedule
for payment:

Week of February 19th- $65/per person
Week of February 25th- $70/per person
Week of March 4th -$75/per person.

Also, ALL WITHHOLD OBLIGATIONS NEED TO BE CLEARED IN
ORDER TO ATTEND PROM. Whether you return items to the library, teacher,
coach, etc. OR pay for them. Cash, money order or cashier's check (made out to
Lahainaluna High School) will be accepted. ABSOLUTELY NO PERSONAL
CHECKS. Mahalo.

Lunch/Food Dropoffs Information effective Tuesday, February 19, 2019

Effective next week Tuesday - All lunch/food drop offs MUST be done at the office between 11am and 12 noon. The office will not accept food outside of this hour. Parents/visitors are not allowed to meet you at the bus stop or anywhere else on campus. Food will not be accepted and visitors dropping off food will not be allowed on campus after 12:00pm.

Mid-Quarter Progress Report for 3rd quarter information

Aloha Lahainaluna Families~
Today your student was given their 3rd Quarter progress report during period 6, the first class of the day. If your student was absent today (2/12) their progress report will be distributed tomorrow again thru period 6. Thereafter any remaining progress reports will be mailed to the home address on file.

Congratulations to the following students who placed at the state PTSA reflection competition: Jorden Beam - 3rd place in film production "We Thank You", Temaleti Afu - 3rd place in literature category "The Ones Without a Name, and Sosefina Riley - 2nd place in photography "My Un-Acknowledged Hero".
