AP/SAT/ACT Scam Alert

AP/SAT/ACT Scam

Message from Kristy Arakawa, Lahainaluna High School College and Career Center Counselor:

Hi Lahainaluna Students:

I just received a message from my state AP contact. She sent me a message to be careful of a new scam, one that recently affected Mililani High School. Please read below AND TELL YOUR PARENTS!!!

"I wanted to alert you to a scam that has happened to some Mililani High School parents. They received phone calls that said they were from ACT and College Board (PSAT/SAT/AP), asking them to submit a deposit so they can be sent a disk with software that will allow them to test at home. This is a scam and not from either ACT or College Board. Neither organization would ever contact parents by phone. Please pass this information to your families."

Mahalo,
Anna
