Requirements
Proficiency in ‘ōlelo Hawaiʻi: Earn a 3.0+ cumulative GPA across 4 years of ‘ōlelo Hawaiʻi coursework.
Proficiency in English: Earn a 3.0+ cumulative GPA across 4 years of English or 3.0+ on the Grade 11 ELA SBA, or 480+ on the SAT Reading/Writing section, or a 4.5+ overall on your most recent WIDA exam taken in high school.
Second Language Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency on a recognized exam. Lahainaluna offers the Avant Language exam at no cost in March (fees apply for retakes).
