NSO/Hui Noe'au Art Contest Information

NSO partnered with the Hui Noe'au Visual Arts Center to launch an art contest for engaging the community in thinking about their relationship with the Sun. It's open to, and there are prizes for all ages! Grand prize is $500. Additionally, there are two identical sets of prizes that will be awarded to each of two groups: Nationwide and Maui County. In other words, there will be nationwide winners, and winners specifically from Maui County. This is to celebrate Maui as the center of solar astronomy, much like how the Big Island is the center of night astronomy.
