Meal Service and Meal Options
In an effort to give students more options at meal service, breakfast and lunch will both have 2 options students can pick from. It is not both, it is one or the other. We have already been doing this for breakfast so this will not be new. Lunch will have a hot entree option and Salad entree option. Students will pick one or the other. All sides are available for students to pick as well. The Salad entree will be in a bento box and the hot entree will be on a plate. We will no longer be offering GRAB N GO BENTOS so the line will move slower because each student will decide what items they want. All items will be self-serve except for the hot entree item.
Please have your ID at meal service times. Each student can have 1 breakfast and 1 lunch at no charge. Any extras will require having money in your meal account. If you have the EZ PAY barcode on your phone, that will be accepted as well. If you do not have your ID, you will need to get a temporary pass from the main office. You are allowed 3 temporary ID's throughout the course of the school year. Lost ID can be replaced by going to the main office and making arrangements there.
Staff Meals:
You will need to have your ID at meal service as well. Please make sure you have money in your account.
We will do our best to learn and understand our school's eating habits. I have no way of knowing how many students will eat, no more than the staff can predict how many students will come to school. As meal habits change, we will adjust to meet the demands. To better adjust to these changes, I suggest making sure you have your ID ready, know if you want the salad entree or the hot entree, and be mindful of those in line behind you.
