The Maui Fire Department has confirmed the electrical fire at the solar panels near our school has been contained and extinguished as of 11 a.m.

As a precaution, the Department of Education is posting private security over the next 48 hours to monitor the area.

We thank our fire and emergency responders for their quick response and coordination, and thank you for your continued support.
