School bus service which services Napili and Kahana (bus route FR11A/AP) and Leiali'i, Wahikuli and upper Kapunakea (bus route FR11B/BP) will be picking up and dropping off our students to and from school effective MONDAY, 8/21/17. Note to students: . Please come to the main office during MORNING RECESS OR LUNCH TIME to pick up your permanent bus pass. If not, the bus company will not let you in the bus for the afternoon pickup at the school. Mahalo!

We apologize for the inconvenience of not being able to catch a bus has caused for you and your family. In an attempt to help move traffic as quickly as possible, you will notice signs that allow for three lanes in the student parking lot. The two side lanes will be for students parking and being dropped off or picked up in the afternoons, while the center lane is for thru traffic ONLY. Please explain to your drivers to drop you off along the sides of the parking lot allowing for others to drive thru with ease. Members of the administration and security team will be there to facilitate this change. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Parking Pass Procedures:
Parking Pass applications can be picked up from either Vice Principal Jeri Dean or Miss Hawealani Kahahane.

Step 1: Student picks up application
Step 2: Student pays for pass at the office with Mrs. Debbie Rogers
Step 3: Student turns in application, receipt and copy of required documents into Vice Principal Dean's mailbox in the main office
Step 4: Miss Hawealani Kahahane will process applications and will distribute stickers accordingly

*Stickers are currently not available; however, as they become available, students who have submitted apps will be notified directly.
*Students will be allowed to park without passes until August 25th, at which time it is the intention to have all parking stalls accounted for.
*Parking passes will be issued on a "first come, first serve" basis

f you missed our class schedule pickup, payment of fees, uniform purchase, and School ID day last week Wednesday and Thursday, here are some helpful info:

FOR CLASS SCHEDULE PICK UP AND PAYMENT OF FEES:

You may pick it up and pay at the main office this week Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 3:00pm.

MANDATORY DUES for Classes of 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021
$25.00 – $10.00 Class dues + $10.00 Student Gov’t dues - (includes photo ID
and handbook/planner)+ postage ($5.00 quarterly mailings)

$5.00 - Graduation Fee (Senior Class of 2018 only)

OPTIONAL FEES for all grades
$25.00 - MIL Athletic Pass (required of all Athletes and Boarders) ... Admission
to LHS sporting events

$50.00 - Ka Lama 2018 Yearbook

CASH ONLY. No personal checks accepted!! However, Bank /cashier checks
or money order for exact amount are acceptable.


FOR UNIFORM PURCHASES:

For incoming and returning boarders, you may purchase it on Sunday, August 6th. at the meeting. For day students, You may purchase it at our school store starting on Monday, August 7th 8am to 2pm. Prices are:

Short Sleeve T-shirt (cotton) $8.00 each
V-Neck T-shirt (cotton) $8.00 each
Polo Shirts (cotton and dri-fit) $12.00 each
Long Sleeves T-shirts (Dri-fit) $12.00 each
