Class of 2016 MANDATORY Pre-Graduation Meeting Dates

ATTENTION Parents and Seniors Class of 2016:

There are MANDATORY Pre-Graduation meetings set for this Sunday, Feb. 21st at 3pm and Monday, Feb. 22nd at 6pm held in Hale Pa'ina (new cafe).

The class of 2016 senior and one parent must attend one of these meetings in order to participate in commencement exercises.

Lahainaluna High School Music Department Carwash Saturday, February 20, 2016 8:00am to 1:00pm at Lahaina Gateway Parking Lot

Please support our Music Department! The carwash is this Saturday, February 20th from 8:00am to 1:00pm at the Lahaina Gateway Parking Lot. Its $5 for all vehicles with a pre-sale ticket, $5 for cars & $7 for larger vehicles without pre-sale ticket. Please look for our students in the concert band, concert choir, jazz band, and marching band for pre-sale tickets. Thank you and please share this flyer often.

Junior Prom Parent Information Meeting on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 6:00pm at Samuel Kamakau Library

Attention Juniors! There is a Junior Prom Parent Info Meeting Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 6pm in Samuel Kamakau Library. Parents are highly encouraged to attend. Topics of discussion will include safety and security, rules and consequences, dress code, set-up/breakdown of prom, and student expectations. Junior students will be provided the same info in Po'okela on Wednesday. This meeting is to mainly address parent questions and concerns. Please contact Ms. Abad or Ms. Pasternak if you have any questions

Congratulations to our Varsity Boys Basketball Team!

The Luna Varsity Boys Basketball team defeated the Henry Perrine Baldwin High School Bears by score of 44-40. Leading scorers were Tavake Faleta with 20 points and Iverson Turno with 10 points. Special thanks to Kalena Balingit for the score and providing the leading scorers of the game. The Luna Boys are the 2016 MIL Boys Basketball Division 1 Champions! Congratulations! Congratulations to our Girls Basketball Team!

Congratulations to our Girls Basketball team as they defeated Mililani High School by the score of 77-38 behind 23 points from Cameron Fernandez and Keleah Aiko Koloi. Good luck to our Lady Lunas Basketball team as they will face Maryknoll High School in the Semi-final game of the HHSAA Division 1 Girls Basketball tournament tonight 7:00pm at Moanalua High School on Oahu. The game will be shown live on OC16 digital channel 12 or HD 1012. Imua Lahainaluna!

Congratulations to our Lady Luna Basketball Team as they captured the 2016 MIL Girls Division 1 Tournament by defeating Kamehameha Schools Maui 80-14 at Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus last night. Class of 2017 Carwash

Does your car need to be washed? Would you or someone you know want to help out the Junior Class Prom with their fund-raiser? Well the Junior Class Prom Committee is holding a car wash tomorrow, Saturday February 6th from 9:00am-1:00pm in the Old Lahaina Luau parking lot.

Junior Prom 2016 News

The Class of 2017 will be hosting a Car Wash Fundraiser at the Old Lahaina Luau Parking Lot on Saturday, February 6, 2016. Pre-sale tickets will be $7
per ticket and can be purchased from Miss Abad or a Junior volunteering to pre- sell tickets. Attention Juniors: As an incentive for volunteering, 10% of your pre- sale tickets sales will go towards your individual cost of attending the Junior Prom. For more details, please see Miss Abad during lunch or afterschool only.
