Congratulations to the Lahainaluna Science Olympiad team as they represented our school and Maui County well at the recently concluded Hawaii State Science Olympiad tournament held at UH Manoa last Saturday.
Specifically, the team garnered 6 medals in the following events:
1st in Anatomy and Physiology- MJee Abara and Carmela Mei Bonifacio
1st in Wind Power-Owen Hegrenes and Kamden Hart
1st in Microbe Mission-MJee Abara and Carmela Mei Bonifacio
2nd in Towers- Sofia Nebrida and Samantha Monnett
2nd in Flight-MJee Abara and Carmela Mei Bonifacio
3rd in Experimental Design- Sofia Nebrida and Samantha Monett
