DECA is one of the five State CTSO (Career and Technical Students Organizations) Associations in Hawaii with recognized national affiliation.
DECA, an association of Marketing Students is an integral component of Marketing Education, providing educational and leadership development activities to be integrated into the marketing instructional program.
DECA helps students to develop skills for successful business careers.
Competition Dates
March 22, 2010
There will be a DECA competition held at the Hawaii Convention Center on Monday, March 22, 2010. Students from different schools in the State will take a 100 questions exam and will have to do two role plays in the following categories. The top winners will go to Nationals.

May 5-6, 2010
The DECA Competition on Wednesday and Thursday, May 5-6, 2010 will be held at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel, covering the following categories:
- Advertising/Retail
- Business Plan
- Education
- Marketing Plan
